Depuis son apparition fulgurante à l’âge de 14 ans avec le titre mythique Joe le taxi, Vanessa Paradis s’est imposée comme une figure incontournable de la culture française. Artiste aux multiples facettes – chanteuse, actrice, muse et égérie – elle incarne depuis plus de trois décennies la beauté naturelle, la liberté et la créativité à la française. La nouvelle exposition qui lui est consacrée retrace son parcours à travers le regard de photographes majeurs, offrant un voyage visuel d’une rare intensité.

Une muse intemporelle entre musique, cinéma et mode
De ses débuts en musique à ses rôles marquants au cinéma, Vanessa Paradis a su constamment se réinventer sans jamais trahir son authenticité. Sa rencontre avec Serge Gainsbourg en 1990 pour la chanson Tandem marque un tournant : Jean-Baptiste Mondino en signe le clip culte, révélant une artiste déjà maîtresse de son image. Depuis, sa photogénie unique n’a cessé d’inspirer les plus grands, de Claude Gassian, qui l’accompagna sur la tournée de Natural High, à Ellen von Unwerth, dont les clichés célèbrent la fantaisie et la sensualité d’une femme libre et espiègle.
From her musical beginnings to her standout film roles, Vanessa Paradis has continuously reinvented herself without ever betraying her authenticity. Her collaboration with Serge Gainsbourg in 1990 on the song Tandem marked a turning point: Jean-Baptiste Mondino directed its now-iconic video, revealing an artist already in full command of her image.
